It’s true, it’s finally here! In what seems like natural progression, Google has introduced a new feature to it’s already fully-loaded Gmail service.

Earlier this week somebody silly from Yahoo said that Google was only known for search and that they needed to diversity in order to be successful… Don’t worry the rest of the internet had to read that twice too. Here is a prime example of how wrong Mrs. Yahoo was as Google demonstrates that Chrome is faster than sound, and fries. Lightening?
This week saw Google preview its upcoming operating system Google Chrome OS. This is an operating system with a difference, its entirely based online and its premise is “everything just works”. The social networkig world slowly ground to a halt today when both Facebook and Twitter stopped working. Both sites slowed to a crawl during the day presenting users with a miriad of technical errors and connection issues.
Twitter confirmed this afternoon that their site was hit by a Denial-of-Service attack resulting in a complete collapse of their servers. Essentially a DOS attack overloads a server with false hits, overwhelming it and causing it to shit down. Facebook have yet to comment on their service issues but one should imagine that they were facing similar attacks most likely from the same individual.
This must have been one rather anti-social hacker, not that one would suppose the hacking community comprises the most outgoing and convivial bunch of peeps.
