For the first of three encores at a concert in San Francisco last week, Chinese pianist Lang Lang played ‘Flight of the Bumblebee’ on an iPad. Watch him tickle the virtual ivory using the Magic Piano app. Mad skills!

Winscape’s awesome TV windows

The video shows a set of two plasma TVs set up behind a pair of windows, connected to a Mac Pro. The Mac is running Winscape’s software which controls the view seen from the windows by tracking the individual’s movement around the room using a simple IR sensor (in this case a Wii-mote). As the person moves around the room the view out of the ‘windows’ changes perspective accordingly. Read more…

Take a bunch of Modern Warfare fanatics, give them $209.42 and they shall deliver this in return. A real life 7 minute action flick well worth your attention. Modern Warfare: Frozen Crossing was created by Corridor Digital who are obviously an exceptionally talented team. Part 2 is coming soon.

F1 Driver plays Modern Warfare 2 whilst riding a bike

April 4th, 2010 No comments

How new F1 driver, Bruno Senna unwinds after a hard day at the track. Cardio + balance + FPS. Now before you think this looks relatively easy consider that Senna is not simply riding an exercise bike, its a real bike, on a bicycle roller. Senna has to balance himself whilst aiming down his sights, otherwise he’ll drift off the apparatus and into his TV most likely. Mad skills.

The Hurt Locker cleaned up show at the Academy Awards last night in Los Angeles and has been haled by many critics as a near perfect film. That is of course if you discount that the film was set in 2004, as made explicitly clear at the start of the picture, and featured a reference to putting a film on YouTube which launched in 2005 and featured a character playing an Xbox 360 which launched in November 2005 and Gears of War on said Xbox 360 which went on sale in November 2006.
