Demonstrating the ability of Kinect to track facial expressions, whilst this recent demo of Microsoft’s upcoming Avatar Kinect may not in itself be awe inspiring, it is rather impressive and more importantly, indicative of the device’s potential.
Since Kinect hit the shelves there have been a number of rather impressive hacks. This time it’s about playing Street Fighter by throwing some shapes. Hadoken!

Additional features include redesigned graphics and revamped Avatars.

Essentially, if you’re a LoveFilm subscriber on a package of £5.99/month or above you can stream thousands of titles to your PS3 without having to wait for disks to reach your doorstep via Royal Snail. Excellent work Sony!
Some 16 years have passed since a remotely decent Sonic game graced screens around the world. 3D was a failure, for obvious reasons, and Sonic fans have been screaming for a return to a traditional 2D viewpoint.
Sonic 4 has been known about for some time but the systems on which it would arrive were not. Now, actually now, its available as a timed exclusive on the iPhone.
