Jonathan Ross had chance to spend some time with Microsoft’s upcoming Project Natal over the weekend and as well as posting information on Twitter, and his son posting a video on YouTube of the session, he also let slip the peripheral’s launch window.

Wossy tweeted the following:

“OK. Before bed. Natal on X Box impressive. Not quite there yet i think but tye have til october and if they get it right…skys the limit.”

So, October. Given his access to the unit over the weekend there is only one likely source of the information provided and thats the big M$ themselves, unless of course he’s making things up. We all know he hasn’t had very much media attention recently… It’s unclear whether in fact the statement refers to the deadline for development or whether in fact October will be the month of launch. If in fact the end of dev time is October this would fit perfectly with other analysts’ predictions of a November launch in time for the Christmas rush.

Microsoft has not yet given a specific date for Natal’s launch and has since made a statement that the product will launch in Christmas 2010 as stated at this year’s CES.
