Motorola have certainly stepped up their mobile game recently with the release of the Dext (Cliq). Having had a chance to spend a little time with the Dext courtesy of one very kind and special GU reader, I can safely say that the world should be saying a big welcome back ‘hello Moto’. The Dext is certainly not the best phone on the market but it does without a doubt do many things very well indeed. Recognising this the mobile manufacturer have Moto-rolled out their latest and revised handset, the Milestone.

The Milestone will be Motorola’s first handset to feature Google’s Android 2.0 operating system. With a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a beautiful high resolution 3.7″ touchscreen alongside 16 GB of storage space and a 5 MP camera the Milestone impresses on paper.

No word yet on pricing or a UK release date but sources have suggested that the phone will launch in Germany for a rumoured €404.
