$1.15 billion spent on the new Cowboys stadium in Arlington, Texas and somebody forgot to tell them to run something other than Windows.The brand new stadium was host to the Oklahoma/Brigham Young game this past Saturday night. Its certainly one thing to have your PC crash in front of a few friends, but tens of thousands of people, thats just bad planning. According to reports first, the screens went blank, then displayed some odd ASCII gibberish, then announced to the assembled crowd that things weren’t going so well in Microsoft land. One user captured the above picture using his altogether more reliable Cupertino based mobile handset.

This however is not the first time Microsoft has suffering public humiliation at the hands of its flagship operating system. At the Beijing Olympic games last year the picture below was taken by one spectator who amongst thousands of others was simultaneously witness to the famed ‘Blue Screen of Death’ during the opening ceremony. Oops.

BSOD

    This is quite a humorous article, with the commonly accepted slight on Microsoft which we love to include in our daily round of current political banter. I can’t help but feel equally amused by the title of this article;

    “The Dangers of Using Windows at Pubic Events”.

    Hopefully EVERYONE, including the proofreader, has enjoyed the title as much as the article!

    Haha the so called proofreader certainly enjoyed having that brought to his attention but can’t help but feel a little dissappointed that he had to change it. Good spot, always happy to bring a smile to a readers face.
