Facebook has submitted the 3.0 edition of its application to Apple for approval. The iPhone’s Facebook App has proven one of the platforms most popular downloads and last month alone saw 12 million users log on to tell the world their most dark and dirty secrets. In face according to unique download statistics 30% of iPhones sold currently house the app.

So far there is no real news on what new features the new app will house aside from video uploads for those of you lucky enough to own a 3GS. Here’s hoping they fix the terrible tendency of the app to crash.
