As one devoted reader so kindly highlighted today, the Geekly Update has been somewhat sparse as of late and for this my friends I apologise. Having failed to deilver on my promise of providing a synopsis of E3 and the wonderous gaming news torrent that sept across the Internet both during and after the event I promise that normal order shall indeed be restored from today, well tomorrow now.

I am aware also that my inability to comentate on the reveal of the new iPhone 3G S and the plethora of features arriving in tomorrow’s (that’s right I said tomorrow’s) OS 3.0 update was somewhat lackluster of me. Knowing your inner geeks I should imagine I was correct in assuming you sought your fix elsewhere or indeed tuned in live following my re-direction.

Without wanting to make any excuses the technology mill has been rather quiet following the very eventful first two weeks of June. However for my dismal performance in aptly reporting on what did occur at E3, specifically with regards Sony’s Presser (sorry Tiger) and all subsequent news to date I can only issue my apologies and hope that I can rekindle your dedication in the coming days.
