Brevity shall be the topic of this update as it is 1am and I have an exam at 10am. Dedication to the cause established.

The following photos alongside another displaying what appears to be a screen capture of an update to Apple’s homepage soon to arrive were released onto the information highway today. With Apple’s Worldwide Dev Conference only a few days away I’m sure these images may be some of the last we speculate upon before the grand unveiling.

The pictures would appear to show the suggested matte black rear of the new iPhone alonside the moving of the lower button to the top left of the device and the headphone socket to the bottom right.

In high resolution you can also make out what appears to be a small button at the bottom right hand side of the handset presumably for controlling the camera shutter.

Pictures released last week from a Chinese Factory appeared to show that the new iPhone would not sport the current silver trim a d would instead be all black. This would appear to be confirmed if indeed these photos are real. In addition the screenshot of Apple’s site update refers to the new model as “ebony” which would add further support to this snippet. In any case we shall probably only have to wait until Monday to know for certain. Rumour has it that Apple might be reading the new OS 3 on Monday so as to stagger it’s release from the new handset to prevent the issues encountered regarding the woe and his wife trying to update their firmware and register their new iPhone as encountered on launch day last year. I remember all too well.
