Wednesday’s revelation that Sky will be making it’s way to the Xbox 360 was confirmed yesterday on Xbox.com.

Xbox and Sky have teamed up to provide Sky’s current online service including it’s watch live service which incorporates Sky Sports, Movies and others alongside Sky’s on demand service. There are no details on pricing as of yet for those of us without Sky priviledges but I should assume that thos already lining Mr Murdoch’s pockets shall be granted access at no extra cost.

One thing that Xbox have made clear is that they are entertaining and developing ideas to provide an interactive viewing service. I should imagine this is geared primarily towards sporting evens viewed live in conjunction with the community and social communicative capabilities already pervasive to the Live service.

No announcement regarding a realse date as of yet. You will be informed when Made official. For now, for those of you interested be sure to check out Xbox.com on 1 June at 18.30 for a live feed of Microsoft’s E3 press conference. It promises to be rather special.
